Military papers of Lewis V. Curry, Michigan 9th Infantry include a photocopy of his handwritten surrender to Brigadier General N.B. Forrest, July 13, 1862; a history by Frederick K. Spetnagel, of the sword Lewis Curry lost at Murfreesboro, Tennessee, which was later returned to his family. The papers also contain information about Francis F. Kibler and the Ohio 59th Infantry, Company I. Two issues of The Snow Cardinal, a semi-annual student publication of Woodward School, Kalamazoo, Michigan, 1928, 1929.
